Corporate Responsibility Report 2010

UN Global Compact Communication on Progress

In December 2010 MAN became a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact. We thereby made an express commitment to the ten principles of the Compact in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anticorruption. The following table represents our first Communication on Progress and provides an overview of the measures we have implemented to date and the results (performance) we have achieved or are aiming to achieve. In this context, our activities are always based on the MAN Code of Conduct, our purchasing and procurement policy, and our integrated management system. Moreover, our activities are aligned with the Guiding Principles of the MAN Group, our CR strategy and the International Framework Agreement for basic human and employee rights.
